SoundPEATS Capsule 3 Pro: The Hottest Earbuds in Town

Reading Time: 3 min

I won’t label this post as a review. Instead, I see it more as sharing an experience. So, let’s talk about the SoundPEATS Capsule 3 Pro Transparent ANC Wireless Earbuds with LDAC. I was introduced to them by my friend, Sohan Dinesh, who’s a tech enthusiast, and I bought my own and tested them for less than 24 hours. Now, you might question whether that’s enough time to get a feel for a pair of earbuds, but let me tell you, it speaks volumes about how impressive these earbuds are. My experience with them was truly memorable, and I want to tell you all about it. So, stick around as I share some key insights about the SoundPEATS Capsule 3 Pro Transparent ANC Wireless Earbuds. I’ll be amazed if you haven’t ordered a pair of these for yourself by the time you’re done reading this blog post. That’s how these earbuds’ price, design, and performance stack up. The Price & Performance

Let’s start with the price because, in this economy, it’s crucial not to overlook it. On the SimplyTEK website, you’ll find the SoundPEATS Capsule 3 Pro Transparent ANC Wireless Earbuds with LDAC listed for 13,499 rupees. However, don’t be fooled by the price tag because these earbuds offer performance comparable to those priced between 45,000 and 50,000 rupees. If 13,499/- is still too steep for your budget, you can also consider the SoundPEATS Clear Transparent Wireless ENC Earbuds, which are priced below 6,000 rupees. Now, let’s talk about the product features. These earbuds come equipped with “Active Noise Cancelling” technology, and when I say ANC, I mean it’s the real deal. The battery can last up to 52 hours on standby, eight hours when active, and 4 hours with ANC on. Additionally, they boast six microphones, three in each earbud (feedback mic, feedforward mic, and call mic) each serving different purposes such as ambient noise cancellation, and voice enhancement.

The Design & Aesthetics

The SoundPEATS Capsule 3 Pro Transparent ANC Wireless Earbuds come in two colors: black and white. When I mention color, I’m referring to the color of the inner components because the housing is transparent. On the other hand, the SoundPEATS Clear Transparent Wireless ENC Earbuds are available in beige, black, white, and blue. However, there’s something about the design of the SoundPEATS Capsule 3 Pro that doesn’t quite appeal to me—the “stem,” which is the trunk-like part where the microphone and sensors are situated. While this design is widely accepted, I prefer earbuds that are a bit more compact (ex: ENG-UB2607). Some parts of the inner components are adorned with gold, copper, and silver colors, making these earbuds the hottest I’ve ever seen. Additionally, there’s an LED light that indicates the charging status of both the built-in power bank and the earbuds. Plus, with a USB-C port for connecting the product to a charger, hopefully, these earbuds can be charged up to 70% faster than with a standard 5W charger.

The Smartphone App

Although simple and sports minimal functions, the smartphone app plays a crucial role because it handles important functions such as firmware updates, alongside common features like the equalizer and presets. When you take the earbuds out of the charging case, the app automatically detects them and establishes a connection. Upon opening, the app directs you to the battery level page. You can easily toggle between ANC, Normal, and Transparent modes by tapping on the earbuds, which is especially convenient when connected to a PC. However, I prefer using the app to switch modes when using my smartphone. The app is compatible with both Android and iOS devices. It’s noteworthy that almost every SoundPEATS audio product comes with a dedicated smartphone app, which is quite impressive given their entry-level price range.

Wrap Up

In summary, the SoundPEATS Capsule 3 Pro Transparent ANC Wireless Earbuds with LDAC offer great value for money. They boast an excellent design and impressive performance, making them suitable for professionals, students, and casual users alike. The price is quite reasonable considering the quality you get, comparable to top brands like Samsung and Huawei. However, the limited 6-month warranty is a drawback for me; I would prefer a 12-month warranty. To protect your investment, I recommend purchasing a SoundPEATS Silicone Earbuds Case for the discounted price of 349.00 rupees (regular price 999.00), especially since the case is prone to scratches. It’s available in four colors: Crimson, Blue, Black, and Green. The total cost, including shipping, comes to 14,662.00 rupees. I bought both items as a birthday present for my sister, and I must say, she loves them!
